• The Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition is available for individual or cluster servers without CPU socket limitation. It offers efficient, robust and secure data management for business-critical, transactions-oriented applications as well as enquiry-intensive data warehouse infrastructures.

All editions of the Oracle Datenbank 11g are based on the same time-proven database architecture and are fully compatible with each other. They are available for different operating systems and contain a common set of development tools and interfaces. One of the advantages or Oracle is the straightforward upgrade: simply start with the Standard Edition One. If your requirements grow you can simply upgrade to the Standard Edition or Enterprise Edition without having to make any changes to your database or the applications.
