On 7/17, our sister company Cloudogu hosted the interactive online event "Digital Transformation Forum".
The forum was aimed at anyone who wanted to proactively engage in the further development of their own company. Experts from a wide range of fields came together to provide impetus for the necessary changes in the context of digital transformation through a creative exchange. The event's topics were as diverse as digital transformation itself. These ranged from modern technologies to project management and corporate culture. The motto of the event was not "sit down and listen", but "participate and try out" with the aim of creating an appetite for change in one's own company and seeing challenges as opportunities. Our colleague Monique Porner also gave a presentation on the topic "IT Service Management - Achieving the Goal with Lean Processes" in which the following question was to be clarified:
How do I design my process to make sense for me, my colleagues and the customer?
Processes should facilitate or support and standardize the work. When designing processes, this should be one of the basic ideas. Processes must not only be developed, but also lived. The acceptance and understanding of colleagues and customers for the process plays an important role. For this reason, it is important to make processes lean and easy to follow. In her presentation, processes for different scenarios were roughly designed interactively and the focus was on the "lean process".
