The initial situation
In order to be able to offer end customers with different forklift models suitable accessories, the employees of Meyer GmbH and their sales partners used a complex Excel spreadsheet.<br/> In addition to the correct model selection, the spreadsheet could also be used for price calculation and a calculation for dimensional and attribute changes for different tine lengths.
After the quotation parameters were passed on to the end customer, Meyer GmbH employees supplemented them with schematic drawings and photos of the fork positioners and sent the collected information in the form of a pdf quotation.<br/> As the integration of updated data was difficult in addition to the strong personnel commitment, Meyer GmbH sought optimization here.

This enables the sales partners to make reliable statements on prices and delivery times without time-consuming consultations.<br/> Since the offer is generated in pdf format directly in the online tool and calculation details as well as schematic drawings and photos are integrated automatically, there is no need for a separate request to the employees* of Meyer GmbH. These are continuously informed about the quotation process by an automated email notification.
With the interactive price list, TRIOLOGY GmbH, in cooperation with Meyer GmbH, has created a tool that can generate and send quotations with reliable information in seconds - a clear competitive advantage that will soon also be used for sales activities in the Netherlands and France.
