Environmental policy

We are EMAS certified

The Eco-Management and Audit Scheme, EMAS for short, is a voluntary environmental management system of the European Union. It helps companies and organizations to continuously improve their impact on people and the environment.
In July 2024, we received initial validation for EMAS certification and were entered in the Chamber of Industry and Commerce's EMAS register under registration number DE-111-00039. As part of the environmental management system, we have drawn up an environmental statement that describes our goals and measures to improve energy and resource use and reduce emissions for the next three years.

Well separated for more conscious consumption

Waste management

By handling our waste more consciously, we contribute to greater sustainability on various levels. On the one hand, we help the local waste disposal company to recycle recyclable waste. On the other hand, we are sensitized to make more conscious purchasing decisions and buy products/consumables/snacks & drinks that produce less waste.

Individually mobile and climate-friendly

Bikeleasing

Mobility options are very individual. By offering bike leasing and subsidies for the Deutschlandticket, we want to support the possibility of using climate-friendly alternatives and thus reducing emissions.

Charity run for environmental projects

Events

At our charity run in September, we paid into a donation pot for moorland rewetting in Lower Saxony for every kilometer we ran. We raised 750 euros in the process! We are incredibly proud of our dedicated employees.

Promotion of biodiversity

Office

Despite our location in the middle of Braunschweig city center, we have created our own little biotope - a paradise for bees and other insects, which can feel right at home on our roof terrace among the lavender flowers.
